The awards, attended by 250 people, recognise excellence in Victoria’s tourist and residential parks and the businesses that support them.

The gala presentation was held at Geelong’s GMHBA Stadium last Wednesday, after more than 200 caravan park owners, managers and staff, including representatives from 42 exhibiting businesses, came from across Victoria for a two-day industry conference.

The community partnership award recognises the significant contribution a member caravan park has made to their local community going beyond business operations to strengthen the people, groups and initiatives that make their region thrive.

“Acacia Caravan Park owners Matt and Kaylene Linsley have shown extraordinary commitment to their local community through active partnerships, hands-on involvement and ongoing financial support,” said CRPVic CEO Scott Parker.

“Over the years they have proudly invested in initiatives that promote wellbeing and strengthen community spirit, from sport and music to local charities, ensuring that their park plays an integral role in building a more connected and vibrant region,” he said

“The park’s team is deeply involved in the local business community, encouraging collaboration, supporting local enterprise and contributing to a stronger regional economy. This dedication shows a belief in the philosophy that strong communities are built on shared support, participation and giving back.”

Mr Parker said the excellence seen across all award categories demonstrates why Victoria’s caravan park industry continues to thrive.

“This industry is driven by people who care deeply about delivering unforgettable experiences for both holidaymakers as well as those who call residential parks home.

"Congratulations to Matt, Kaylene and everyone involved in Acacia’s success locally and as an industry leader. Together with all of this year’s award winners and finalists, they reflect the innovation, dedication and passion that make our industry truly exceptional,” he said.
