Action-packed day at Stawell Harness Racing Club

It was another action-packed day at the Stawell Harness Racing Club last Monday, with the club hosting an eight-race card.

Great Western’s Peter Manning trained a winner, with Luke Sutherland driving Torque In Heaven to victory in race seven.

Marnie Bibby also tasted podium success, with her horse Starzinhereyes, driven by Jordan Leedham, finishing third in race eight.

Lexton’s James Herbetson drove three second-place finishes during the meet. His success started with Kimchi in race two, followed by Esperanza in race five and Poppy Popstar in race six.

Kate Hargreaves-trained horse Just Like Nugget finished third in race four, driven by Ewa Justice.

The next harness racing event is on Sunday, November 29, when the club hosts the Stawell Cup.

With the venue looking excellent and free entry, everyone is invited to attend the race days with plenty of entertainment and great food on offer.
