Ararat’s link to sparrows brought to life
AN interesting part of Ararat’s history has been brought to life with the official unveiling of the Sparrows Lane public art installation last Saturday. The project, commissioned by Adam Haddow of MAD Hospitality, transforms the laneway beside the former Bull & Mouth Hotel into a permanent piece of public art featuring individually crafted bronze sparrow sculptures by acclaimed Australian artist Anna-Wili Highfield.
