Ararat’s Sawyer shoots to victory
On November 26, Grampians Field and Game held their last shoot at their current club grounds, Riachella Wal Wal, with Ararat’s Jim Sawyer claiming a memorable victory with a score of 89/100.

In 2026, they are moving to their new club location in Stawell, at the Stawell Clay Target Complex, 57 Lavet Road Stawell.
The day was sponsored by J & A Fishing and Shooting Supplies from Horsham.
They had a record attendance of 157 Field and Game members from all over Victoria to compete and celebrate the end of an era.
Their next shoot will be held on the 25th of January 2026.

AA-Grade: 1st Heath Dunstan (Ballarat) 89/100, 2nd Tim Larnder (Shepparton) 88/100, 3rd Stephen Krause (Minyip) 88/100.
A-Grade: 1st Shanan Baker (Natimuk) 86/100, 2nd Trent Grant (Donald) 582/100, 3rd Gus Geue( Grampians) 82/100.
B-Grade: 1st Jeremy Anderson (Timboon) 78/100 2nd Jackson Lomer (Benalla) 76/100 3rd Ray Freeman (Grampians) 76/100.
C-Grade: 1st Jamie Pappaluca (Ballarat) 71/1002nd Ashley Gervasoni (Clunes) 65/100 3rd Alistair Giles 65/100 on handicap.
Veterans: 1st Russel Cook (Bendigo) (75+20) 95/100, 2nd Barry Wentworth (Geelong) (79+12) 91/100, 3rd Greg Munn (Natimuk) (77+11) 88/100.
Ladies: 1st Cassandra Boers (Ballarat) (61+33) 94/100, 2nd Tabitha Wilmot (Natimuk) (77+14) 91/100, 3rd Rebecca Close (Ballarat) (53+36) 89/100.
Junior: 1st Evie Hendy(Minyip) (62+24) 86/100, 2nd Josh Fitzpatrick (Ararat-Stawell) (61+20) 81/100, 3rd Jake Mckenzie (Minyip) (64+16) 80/100.
Sub Junior: 1st Wyatt Hogan (Clunes) (57=34) 91/100, 2nd Will Hodder (Grampians) (66+24) 90/100, 3rd Eli McKenzie (Ballarat) (50+36) 86/100.
