Beaufort trials solar bins

BEAUFORT residents may have noticed a new addition on Havelock Street, with a solar-powered compactor bin now in place outside the public toilets.

Pyrenees Shire CEO Jim Nolan hopes that the trial of compactor bins will improve the efficiency of litter collection and disposal in Beaufort.
