After scoring only five goals in the first quarter, the Bulldogs scored ten in the second to take a one-goal lead into halftime.

The Bulldogs' pressure forced turnovers, and they capitalised on their shots at goal, scoring 12 goals to six to take a seven-goal lead into three-quarter time.

The Bulldogs were relentless in the last quarter, holding the Grasshoppers to one goal as they ran out 37-23 winners.

Emily Beavis scored 19 goals with an accuracy of 76%, while Macey Gollop scored ten at 62.50%, and Bonnie Beavis chipped in with eight at 72.73%.

Talia Arrowsmith was brilliant in the midcourt for the Bulldogs, creating plenty of drive, while Bree Thatcher was outstanding in defence.
