Council to finalise election “wishlist”

WITH a state election just eight months away, Ararat Rural City Council is gearing up for an intensive advocacy program to get commitments to important projects across the municipality. At this Tuesday’s council meeting, councillors will be asked to narrow down a “wish list” of projects they will lobby political parties for ahead of polling day.
