Stawell Harness Racing Club was doing its bit on Good Friday to help raise funds for the Royal Children’s Hospital.
The club dedicated its race day to the Good Friday appeal, raising over $7,000.
More than 350 people attended the Pleasant Creek Plate, which featured seven races, a fashion parade Frocks at the Trots, face painting, a jumping castle, egg and spoon races and a visit from the Easter Bunny.
Racing Manager Mark Percival said it was a very successful day.
“There is a lot on Good Friday which is a challenge for us but a lot of kids and families came along. It was a great day,” Mr Percival said.
The club has told the Stawell Times-News the day raised $7,096 for the Good Friday Appeal.
