Former Ararat girl moves to agriculture’s top job

FORMER Ararat resident and farmer Michaela Settle has been appointed Victoria’s new Minister for Agriculture. Ms Settle, who holds the Ballarat based seat of Eureka, was one of four Labor MP’s promoted to the ministry on Wednesday after a number of long serving ministers announced they would not seek re-election in November.
