GCA sends strong teams to Country Week
Grampians Cricket Association is sending four representative sides to the Central Highlands Junior competition, which gets underway on Monday, January 5.

The under-13 boys will be coached by Josh McDougall. Representing Tatyoon are Rowly Tucker, Oscar McDougall, Archie Harris, Joel McKay, Tom King, Bill King, Lachlan Blandford, Ted Tucker and William Jarrett.
Representing Pomonal is James Robert and Elijiah D Costa, and representing Swifts-Great Western are Luke Fulton and Eden Croft.
They are in Pool B, and play matches against Ballarat White (North Park, Stawell), Grenville (Linton Recreation Reserve), and Gisborne White at Romsey Recreation Reserve.
The under-15 boys also play next week. Representing Tatyoon are Max Tucker, Edward Astbury, Archie Faser and Ollie Munro. Representing Swifts-Great Western are Ethan Parker and Alex Simpkin. Representing Pomonal are Ned Jackson, Jim Hewitt, Logan Sewell and Wilhelm Mellors, and representing East Ballarat are Ben Brodie and Banjo Fitzpatrick.
They play matches against Gisborne (Central Park, Stawell), Castlemaine (Gordon Street Reserve, Ararat), and Ballarat (Russell Square, Ballarat).
The under-14 girls commence their quest for glory on January 12.
Representing Buangor is Georgie Chamings and Trinity Arch, representing Beaufort and Buangor is Lucy Hayward, representing Pomonal is Harriet Roberts and Charlotte McPhan, representing Tatyoon is Scarlett Jackson, Kate Drum and Danielle Armstrong, representing Warrnambool is Maddison Howell and representing St Andrews in Hamilton is Grace Harris.
The under-17 boys’ team is yet to be finalised, and they start their week on Monday, January 19.
