The school’s Breakfast Club used the occasion to cook up rainbow pancakes for students, staff and school visitors.

Students then had the opportunity to contribute to the rainbow path being created in the school yard.

IDAHOBIT, or the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia, and Transphobia, is observed annually on May 17.

The date commemorates the 1990 decision of the World Health Organisation to remove homosexuality from the list of mental disorders.

School Nurse Leonie Cowey organised the event along with the School Wellbeing Team.
