McHappy Day is on Saturday November 15 where $2 from the purchase of every Big Mac goes to Ronald McDonald House charities.

In addition, people can purchase merchandise from Ararat McDonalds now to help raise the tally including Silly Socks, Bucket Hats and Lend a Hand.

Organiser Sevahn Maxwell said it will be a fun day which will raise money for important causes.

“We’ve got face painting, spin the wheel, the rally and lolly jar announcement and we hope to have the SES and police join us.”

Numerous local businesses have contributed prizes for the day including Woolworths, Reject Shop, M-Mart, Ararat RSL, Autopro, Tyrepower, Lyle Eales, Fosters Mensland, Zest Living and Ararat Auto and AG.
