After losing the toss and bowling, disciplined bowling from the Kookaburras bowlers restricted Natimuk to 8/131 off their 40 overs.

Spencer Campbell was the pick of the bowlers, taking 3/21 (3), while Adam McCormack 2/12 (6) and Jacob Watts 2/24 (6) also bowled well.

The Kookaburras batsman, unlike previous matches, didn’t have it their own way with the top order struggling, with the first three batters putting on 17 runs between them.

Bailey Stirling came in at 3/21 and put on 29 runs, and with the help of William Pedersen down the bottom of the order, scoring 54, and Jacob Watts remaining unbeaten on 19, they chased the total down in the 29th over to finish at 6/133.

Saturday, the Kookaburras host Quantong and Halls Gap Recreation Reserve.
