Lions’ care continues at Lowe Street

MARY Schwencke may no longer work at 70 Lowe Street, but leaving the job did not mean leaving the place behind. After spending 11-and-a-half years working at East Grampians Health Service’s specialist aged-care facility, the Ararat Lions Club member has continued to keep in touch with her former colleagues. So when the club had money available to put back into the community, Ms Schwencke returned to a familiar place with a simple question – what do you need?
