Native Flower Show returns this weekend
THE districts biggest gardening event of the year, The Pomonal Native Flower Show, returns today and tomorrow at the Pomonal Community Hall.
Hosted by the Australian Plant Society Grampians Group, the annual show highlights a vibrant array of native Australian flora.
Visitors can enjoy expert advice, special guest speakers, market stalls, plant and book sales, and refreshments.
This year’s show puts the spotlight on all things Grevillea and the weekend program is packed with inspiration for garden enthusiasts.
"Events like this are what make our region so special. It’s fantastic to see our local community and visitors come together to celebrate our unique native flora, and focusing on grevilleas this year is going to bring so much life to gardens across the municipality,” said Ararat Mayor Bob Sanders.
“Whether you’re an experienced gardener or just looking for a great day out with expert advice and market stalls, there’s something for everyone."
