Out and About: Take Another Breath – Grampians
A mid-winter event showcasing the local wine industry proved popular at Pomonal’s Barney’s Bistro last weekend.
Take Another Breath Grampians took on a market atmosphere.
Funding from the Victorian Government allowed Take Another Breath – Grampians to kick off last Friday night with dinner at Barney’s crafted by local chefs, featuring the best regional produce, and paired with wines handpicked by Simon Freeman.
Winemakers were also be in attendance to share their stories and insights. Then on Saturday, a full-day festival in the grounds of Barney’s featured music, food, and wine.
People travelled from across the region to take advantage of a perfect winters day and soak in the atmosphere.
Simon Clayfield from Clayfield Wines has a selection available for visitors to sample.
Carly from Best’s Great Western did a roaring trade.
Nancy Panter discussed the Sub Rosa vintage with visitors.
Katrina Toomey from Miners Ridge Vineyard enjoyed a laugh with patrons.
Shane Goninon from Mountainside Wines was pleased to offer visitors a sample.
Riley Mason kept the crowd entertained.
