Power outage

With the temperature hitting 41 degrees, at least a thousand local residents are now without power. A fault in Nott Road Ararat has seen power cut to residents in Ararat South, Lake Bolac, Maroona, Tatyoon, Willaura, Moyston, Streatham, Wickliffe, Westmere, Cathcart, Caranballac, Mininera, Langi Logan, Rossbridge and Norval. Powercor’s website states power may not be restored until 7.30pm.
