With Faith Biddle missing, Demi Bligh was given the opportunity to play as the goal keeper.

The Rats started well, scoring 22 goals in the opening quarter to lead by 11 at quarter-time. They shot 16 points in the second quarter, with Laney McLoughlan and Maggie Astbury outstanding up forward, as they extended their lead to 18 at half-time.

Another 20-goal quarter saw the Eagles extend their margin to 32 at three-quarter-time before scoring another 20 in the last to run out 78-36 winners.

Maggie Astbury was sensational in attack, scoring her first half century of the year, finishing with 51 goals, while Laney McLoughlan was a solid contributor with 25.

Tash Noble was awarded best-on-court with her brilliant game at wing defence, while Monique Scott and Jessica Taylor were excellent in the midcourt. Demi Bligh and Paige Biddle were outstanding in defence, limiting their opponents to 36 goals.

The Rats currently sit fourth on the ladder on equal points with Dimboola, but with the bye this weekend, and Dimboola playing Stawell, Dimboola should move a game clear in third place.
