Sasha leads the class
Stawell Secondary College has announced Sasha Woltjen as its 2025 Dux, after yesterday's release of ATAR scored. It's the school's highest academic honour and Sasha's teachers say she's put in a year of dedication to achieve top marks.

EXCITEMENT spread across Victoria yesterday morning as thousands of Year 12 students logged on to receive their ATAR results — and in Stawell, the celebrations were no different.
Stawell Secondary College has praised the efforts of its graduating class, commending students for their hard work, resilience and positive attitude throughout what can be one of the most demanding years of school life.
Senior school coordinator Andy Reynolds said the Class of 2025 had much to be proud of.
“Our graduating students have consistently demonstrated the College values of Respect, Resilience, Aspiration, Inclusion and Participation,” he said.
“The entire school community is proud of their achievements and commends them for their commitment and effort in 2025.”
The College also announced Sasha Woltjen as its 2025 Dux, the school’s highest academic honour.
Mr Reynolds said Sasha’s achievement reflected an impressive year of dedication.
“Sasha has applied herself with determination and focus throughout the year, and this outstanding result is a testament to her perseverance,” he said.
“The College congratulates Sasha on this exceptional achievement and extends its best wishes as she embarks on her future endeavours.”
Families, friends and teachers will join students in celebrating yesterday’s milestone as many begin planning their next steps, whether that’s university, apprenticeships, further training, or entering the workforce.
Stawell Secondary College encouraged all graduates to take pride in what they’ve accomplished.
“Every student who completed Year 12 this year has achieved something significant,” Mr Reynolds said.
“We congratulate the entire cohort and look forward to seeing the many paths they will take from here.”
