Split and Stawell claim under-14 premiership
Split and Stawell (SS) are the under-12 Stawell Basketball Association premiers following a seven-point win over Russ McGregor Electrical (RME) on Monday night at the Stawell Sports and Aquatic Centre.

The match was fiercely contested early, with neither team giving an inch, and it was SS that took a slender one-goal lead into half-time.
The game remained tight in the second half, but SS started to get on top, led by Blayze Kenny with a game-high 29 goals, as they ran out 43-36 winners.
Jacob Matthew Ramos scored five for SS, while Sam Margetson scored four, and Charlie Sullivan and Jax Skurrie scored three and two, respectively.
Justin Agusan led the way for RME with 16 points, while Kaeden Beaton contributed 14.
Blayze Kenny was named league MVP. He scored 258 points in 15 games.
