Stawell gets McHappy for the kids
THE team at McDonald’s Stawell worked hard to put the ‘fun’ into fundraising last weekend, pulling out all the stops to make this year’s McHappy Day one to remember.

Crew members in-store were dressed up for the occasion, while across the road local car enthusiasts participated in ‘Cars & Coffee’ which was a fundraising show and shine event to bring in a few more dollars for Ronald McDonald House Charities.
A Ronald McDonald House is a home away from home that provides accommodation for families with seriously ill or injured children who need to travel for medical treatment.
These houses, run by Ronald McDonald House Charities offer a supportive and comfortable environment close to hospitals, allowing families to stay together while a child receives care.
During McHappy Day, customers contributed in several several different ways, including by purchasing McDonald’s paraphernalia, a Helping Hand sign for $2, $10 or $50, and also $2 from every Big Mac sold went directly to RMHC.
