Three dead in Stoneleigh crash

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are heading to the scene of a triple fatality in Stoneleigh this morning. Emergency services were called to the collision, between a truck and car, at the intersection of Eurambeen-Streatham and Mount William roads shortly after 9.30am. The vehicle appears to have rolled and been crushed. Sadly, an adult and two children have died at the scene. Another adult, who was trapped in the vehicle, has life-threatening injuries and is expected to be airlifted to hospital. The area has been cordoned off and the surrounding roads are blocked while police and emergency service personnel respond to the scene. Detectives from the Major Collision Investigation Unit will investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision. The driver of the truck appears to have received minor injuries.
