Urban roads to be sealed
A number of local streets in Ararat township will be upgraded to a sealed standard this financial year as part of Ararat Rural City Council’s ongoing Urban Gravel to Seal Program. They include Alexandra Avenue (Queen Street to Vincent Street), Coral Street and McNeill Street and Maude Street (off Elizabeth Street), to be delivered in conjunction with the Ararat Pony Club Development.
Council is currently accepting tenders to seal Alexandra Avenue, one of a number of projects to be completed this financial year.
